Barre Fitness

Barre Fitness is a full body workout which combines ballet, Pilates and yoga principles.

Performed at the barre, this class is fabulous for increasing;

  • strength and stamina
  • flexibility
  • bone health and density
  • overall fitness levels
  • endorphins – the happy chemicals
  • balance and co-ordination.

The upbeat soundtrack is guaranteed to motivate you throughout. So whether you’re an experienced dancer or you have 2 left feet – this is a fun energising class that really packs a punch.

Classes take place at:

Tuesdays 6.30pm to 7.30pm at South Yorkshire Physiotherapy Centre, Day Street.

No, not at all. This is a dance style fitness class and is suitable for anyone regardless whether they have danced before or not.

Any loose comfortable clothing that allows you to move around easily. Trainers or dance shoes are ideal for your feet.

Private Lessons

If group classes aren’t really your thing, or you feel like you could use a little bit more individual support, you may feel more suited to private lessons.
These can be carried out on a one to one basis, or you can share the experience with a friend or family member.
