Introduction to Yoga
This 6 week course has been designed specifically with beginners in mind.
If you haven’t tried yoga before, this is the perfect time, and a great way to promote a healthy body and mind in 2024
This course comprises of 6 weekly in-person yoga classes. The course is designed for complete beginners but may also be suitable for anyone who has taken a break from yoga/exercise and would like to gently reacquaint themselves.
The classes will slowly increase in difficulty throughout the course but will give you the option to move at you own speed and adapt where necessary. Progressions and regressions are always provided for poses to ensure that you have a range of options that are suitable for your body.
Along with the weekly classes, you will also have access to an online portal which will include additional classes and resources for you to access in your own time. This is ideal for anyone who would like to practice more than once a week or would like to delve a little further into the world of yoga.

- Classes will slowly increase in intensity and along with the online classes and resources will allow you to learn and adapt at your own pace.

Yes, you don’t need to have any prior experience of yoga in order to do this course.
It will be possible for you to attend an alternative* class at a different time so that you don’t miss out. You will also have access to an online portal with additional classes and resources to work through in your own time.

You will need to bring your own yoga mat with you, but don’t worry, these can be purchased very inexpensively. Please just ask me if you need any recommendations.
Not at all. There’s far more to yoga then just being flexible, and everybody has to start somewhere.
You are very welcome to join the regular class schedule – both in-person and online options available.
It’s important to know that there is no one correct way to do yoga. We all have very different bodies and without a doubt some poses just do not suit some people. You will always be given alternatives or ways to adapt the position to make it more suitable for your body.
Yes, as well as the live weekly classes, you will also have access to additional classes and teachings online that you can access in your own time.
